In response to the weather forecasts predicting temperatures
dropping into the 30s and a possibility of snow throughout the
weekend, the National Guard Armory at 8940 Wren Ave. in Gilroy will
extend its shelter hours.

It will be open from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Friday through Sunday and will close at 6 p.m. Monday.

From Monday to the end of March, the Armory will follow its normal schedule and will be open from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. unless there is extreme weather. For more information or updates on warming center locations, call 2-1-1 or visit 211scc.org.
