Gilroy – Jordan Reyes struck for 24 points Wednesday as Flash improved to 2-0 in Men’s DDD League basketball action with a 70-50 nod over Corde Ball’n at Solorsano Gymnasium.

Tony Johnson followed with 22 points and Asa Saito provided 10 as Flash assumed sole possession of first place in the four-team circuit.

Bobby Martin threaded five three-point field goals on the way to a team-high 18 points for Corde Ball’n. Michael Moore came up with 12 markers for the losers.

The Eagles moved into second at 1-1 with a 40-32 triumph over GC Farms. Marcus Barbosa scored 13 of his game-high 21 points in the second half as the Eagles snapped a 15-15 deadlock at the intermission. Jesus Perez dropped in two 3-pointers for the Eagles. Mike Yoshita paced GC Farms with 10 points.

Toto’s Stingers (2-0) grabbed first place in the Men’s DD League at 2-0 with a 51-45 edging of Handmade Healthcare Wednesday.

Philip Terry and Warren Gaspar each popped in nine points to lead the Stingers. Eddie Gamboa followed with eight points. Nick Possley recorded 14 points, Brit Bigelow 11 for Handmade Healthcare.

Ed Lujan hit for 13 points to led Gilroy Young Plants (1-1) by Rocha’s Drywall 47-32. Joe Sutter aided the Plants cause with 11 points. Bryan Windham scored seven points for Rocha’s Drywall.

Pizza N’ Stuff slipped past Headstart Nursery 65-63 to remain unbeaten in Men’s D League basketball action Tuesday at Solorsano Gym.

Mark Cisneros logged 25 points and Miguel Gillard turned four 3-pointers into a 16-point showing for Pizza N’ Stuff. Headstart countered with 28 points from Robert Lemmon, 10 from Rob Christopher.

Morgan Hill Garage Door joined Pizza N’ Stuff at 2-0 by defeating CordeValle 46-42. Sig Reynisson paced the Garage offense with 17 points. Danny Rodriguez directed the offense and finished with 14 Garage points. Danny Crowe poured in 16 points and Chris Vigilante added 11 for CordeValle.
