participate in a seven-versus-seven tournament last weekend and had
a U16 team win a tournament championship.
The Gilroy Infinity field hockey club took a trip to UC Davis to participate in a seven-versus-seven tournament last weekend and had a U16 team win a tournament championship.
The team comprised of Jasmine Villanuevo (goalie), Taylor Riewerts, Sydney Sandoval, Kiara Santamaria, Monica Morrazzo, Emma Leach and KC Carter, with no substitution players available, posted a clean 6-0 record.
The Infinity U18 teams posted records of 3-1 and 2-2, while the other U16 squad finished 2-2.
Gilroy Infinity is hosting its own seven-versus-seven tournament, Spring Fling, on May 14.
