Presentation High School benefit fashion show
Santa Clara – The Presentation High School annual fashion show, “On Location,” will be held March 23 at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel. The event features a luncheon show at 11:30am, and a gala dinner dance show at 6:30pm. Luncheon tickets are $85 per person, dinner are $150 and include dancing to the sounds of King Raffi. Proceeds benefit the Presentation High School Scholarship Fund. Participants are selected based on merit, considering personal achievement, contribution to the school and community or exemplification of the school’s motto, “Not Words but Deeds.”

Goldsmith Seeds flower sale benefits community
Gilroy – Every spring, since 1965, Goldsmith Seeds holds its annual Spring Trials. During these trials, hundreds of new plants are introduced to the nursery and greenhouse industries and thousands are on display. About 20 years ago, Glenn and Joel Goldsmith and the leaders of Gilroy Rotary came together and the annual Flower Sale was born. Since then, tens of thousands of dollars have been raised to help support the ongoing need of service providers, schools and nonprofits.
This year’s sale will be held Saturday, April 28, from 8am to 1pm. Goldsmith Seeds is located at 2280 Hecker Pass Highway.
