Gilroy – Team Pipe-Net slipped past Team Whaaat 9-6 Tuesday in a battle of unbeaten Men’s Fall CC League teams at Christmas Hill Park.

The Pipes built a 17-9 edge in hits in moving to 5-0. Only one Whaaat batter, Gabriel Hernandez, produced two hits.

James Furtado of Whaaat lined a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning to leave the clubs tied at 6-6. Team Pipe-Net recovered to score three runs in the sixth with consecutive hits by Danny Hinojos, Steve Torres, Tommy Chavez and Alex Soto.

Hinojos took game batting honors with a 4-for-5 performance. Fred Martinez and Ron McGee each added three Pipe hits.

Pro Electric used three hits apiece by Tony Martinez, Danny Sandoval and Chendo Acevedo to defeat C&R Communications 16-10.

Julian Castaneda ignited a seven-run rally in the second inning with a one-out home run for the Electricians. Martin Serrano hit a two-run double in a five-run Pro fifth frame.

Anthony Suniga and Chuck Flores each went 3-for-3 for C&R Communications.

Los Gigantes (2-3) earned a forfeit win over Five Star Motors.

Danger maintained a one-game lead in the Men’s Fall C League standings Tuesday with a 17-1 win over Kaeding Performance at Christmas Hill Park.

Joey Barnes drove in six runs with two home runs and a double for the 5-1 winners. Daniel DeLeon homered for Kaeding.

Louie Garcia and Willie Gamboa each homered to help Interstate Fence-Dee’z Nutz (4-2) to a 12-10 win over Jus 2 Party. Ralphie Martinez and Richie Rodriquez each belted four hits for Jus 2 Party (3-3).

Executive Lifestyles rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat the Good Ole Boys 8-7 in Men’s Fall E play Wednesday at Christmas Hill.

Ryan Bright and Bill Miller drove in Good Ole Boys runs in the top of the seventh to snap a 5-5 tie. Justin Baker’s one-out RBI-single tied the score for the Executives. Travis Graham followed with a game-winning single.

Gene Losongco went 3-for-4 and scored three runs for 5-0 Executive. Robie Kramer singled and doubled for the 3-2 Boys.

Ralph Flores drove in three runs with three singles and a sacrifice fly to pace Uribe Machining (2-3) past Team Beefy 26-11. Bruce Mah stroked a two-run double as Team Beefy erupted for 11 runs in the second inning.

Los Pistoleros topped the Titans 17-2 to move to 6-0 atop the Men’s Fall DD League standings Wednesday at Las Animas.

Jose Serrano went 4-for-4 and scored four runs for the league leaders. Bob Canales went 4-for-5 and Zeke Lopez hit a three-run home run for Los Pistoleros. Craig Courtney tripled and David Rose bagged an RBI-single for the Titans.

The VFW Vets advanced to 4-2 with a 15-4 win over Pacific Coast Bail Bonds. Daniel Montenegro collected three hits and Chris Hernandez lashed a two-run triple for the Vets. Sergio Diaz went 3-for-3 and Matt Hernandez drilled a two-run single for Pacific Coast Bail Bonds.

The Regulators pushed across four runs in the top of the seventh inning to hold off New Hope Community Church 11-7. Marco Lopez ignited the rally with a two-run single. Jess Lopez Jr. homered and Michael Hernandez scored three runs for the 3-3 Regulators. Brian Eslick went 3-for-3 with two RBI for New Hope.
