olice and paramedics responded to a head-on collision involving two vehicles that resulted in minor injuries near the intersection of East Dunne Avenue and Depot Street Thursday afternoon, authorities said. 

The accident happened just east of the  Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, about 3:15 p.m., when a four-door Toyota sedan collided with a Ford Expedition, police said. Police at the scene did not immediately know what caused the accident, which is under investigation. 

The female driver of Toyota suffered abrasions to her right wrist and the left side of her chest, according to Morgan Hill police Sgt. Rod Krewson. The woman could be heard screaming from behind an ambulance that responded to the accident.

A child was also traveling in the Toyota, but the child did not appear to be injured, police said. The driver of the Ford also appeared to be uninjured.
