Winning pitcher Nathan Bonsell threw six innings without allowing an earned run to help Christopher High’s baseball team to a 3-1 victory over El Dorado of Placerville on Wednesday at Gavilan College.
Travis Hill picked up the save for Christopher. Patrick Valdez doubled and drove in a run for the Cougars, who got two stolen bases from Kevin Willard, two hits, a double and two RBIs from Tyler Fhurong, and a triple from Travis Sammons.
Gilroy’s home game against Overfelt was moved from Wednesday to April 29.
