Put on your dancing shoes and raise money for organ donation

Team Wicked, a Morgan Hill-based team of runners preparing for an upcoming 199-mile relay, invites the community to a fundraiser for Organs ‘R’ Us Saturday at Champs Bar and Grill in Morgan Hill. 

The fundraiser starts at 5 p.m., and raffle tickets for gift certificates to local businesses – including Morgan Hill CrossFit, Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Morgan Hill Cellars – will be on sale for $5 each, or five tickets for $20, according to Team Wicked captain Mary Seehafer. 

Champs, located at 17330 Monterey Road, will also feature live entertainment for the evening, as well as food and drink specials. 

All proceeds raised from the raffle will benefit Organs ‘R’ Us, a nonprofit organization that works to raise awareness of the need for organ donors, and funds for children in need of organ transplants. 

Team Wicked is a 12-member team that is preparing for the upcoming event known as The Relay, a 199-mile relay race that goes from Calistoga to Santa Cruz. The Relay, scheduled for May 4 and May 5, is also raising money for Organs ‘R’ Us.
