Downtown Gilroy’s Art and Wine stroll is coming up soon, a favorite annual event amongst locals who want to appreciate the finer things in life for an afternoon.Â
This year, 21 downtown businesses have partnered with 20 local wineries for a fun day of tasting, mingling and shopping from 2 to 6 p.m. May 4. Have your glass refilled at each booth as you visit with friends to the backdrop of live acoustic music, and stroll the historic streets of downtown whilst sipping wine and perusing local artwork.
This year’s event features a new winery addition: Sunlit Oaks, South County’s newest winery on foothills east of Gilroy. Old City Hall Restaurant, Bella Viva Ristorante and Fifth Street Coffee – new businesses to the downtown scene – are also set to participate.
Tickets are on sale for $25 in advance and $35 the day off. Tickets can be purchased the Chamber of Commerce, online here and at participating downtown businesses (included in this story’s info box).
