Gilroy theater veteran John Bisceglie has teamed up with the Gilroy Recreation Department to present a groovy summer musical celebrating the musical renaissance of the 1960s, and he’s combing Gilroy youth for some local talent.Â
Auditions for “Color My World” will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11 at the Gilroy Senior Center at 7371 Hanna St. Roles in the musical are open to anyone ages 6 to 25.Â
The tunes featured include hits from The Beatles, Three Dog Night, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Steppenwolf and more.Â
