Three one-run games marked the play Wednesday at Las Animas Park in the Gilroy Recreation Department’s Fall Men’s DD League.
Team TF, at 3-0 the lone unbeaten team in the eight-team league, outlasted the Bash Brothers 9-8 in the triplebill nightcap. Matt Hernandez hit his third extra-base hit of the game to highlight a two-run rally in the seventh for the winners. Tyler Osbourne hit two home runs and a triple for the 2-2 Bash Brothers.
Paulo Perez’ one-out single in the bottom of the seventh lifted the Borrachos past Feather Haven 10-9. Eric Keen’s RBI-triple sparked a six-run rally in the top of the seventh for Feather Haven. Kevin Cooper added a three-run homer for the Feather. Danny Melendez homered twice for the Borrachos.
Mike Radcliff singled home Leon Lamson with the deciding run in the seventh as Players-HD Auto Glass upended Freddie Sanchez Hardwood Floors 10-9. Sean Subia went 3 for 3 for the Players (3-1). Mike Gonzalez hit two doubles and a single for the 2-2 Floormen.
Cal Silk Screen Printing upset Corey’s Girls-Heavy’s Grill 7-4 in Women’s B action Wednesday at Christmas Hill Park. Mariah Mastiorini hit a triple, double and single for the Printers. Eva Niebel went 3 for 3 for the 4-1 Corey’s-Heavy’s.
Las Frijolitas is 3-2 in C Division action after a 10-6 victory over Pops’ Gals. Nikki Dequin went 3 for 3 and Dora Olivares drove in two runs for Las Frijolitas. Alicia Reese homered and tripled for Pops’ Gals.
Loca Girls also advanced to 3-2 with a 22-1 nod over the Saint Louise Bruisers. Giovanni Martin went 4 for 4 and scored four runs. Laura Nuno singled and scored the Bruiser marker.
No Soup 4 You outlasted RMS 16-13 to advance to 5-0 in Tuesday EE play. Rigo Solis stroked a homer, double and single for the Soup. Jaime Baquera hit two singles in a nine-run rally in the second for RMS.
Baker Pump slipped into second place at 3-2 with a 10-2 nod over Beer 30. Bobby Martin and Jake Verrissimo each collected three Pump hits. Steve Dozal and Ken Dominick each mustered two Beer 30 hits.
The Loco Boys (5-0) rallied for six runs in the top of the seventh inning to trip the Inglorious Batters 12-9 in Tuesday E play. Ryan Tapia’s two-out triple pushed the Loco Boys into the lead. Marco Lopez went 3 for 4 for the winners. Chris Velador went 4 for 4 for the Batters.
Henry Quistian hit two triples and a single as Fastenal topped Those Guys 14-2. Jarred Reeve and Willie Maquinalez hit RBI-singles for Those Guys.
