GILROY – The Brakettes recently recorded a 9-6 victory over the Thunder in Gilroy Girls Minors little league softball action, and were led by an eight-strikeout, one-hit effort by Angelica Reyes on the mound.
Reyes also helped herself by hitting a home run in the top of the third inning.
Maria Sandoval and Raegan Silveira both went 2-for-3 for the Brakettes and scored twice, while Julianna Santitgo had the only hit for Thunder.
