PennyCakes opens
To the delight of sweet lovers throughout the South County, PennyCakes recently opened a confection shop that features many yummy treats-from truffles and cupcakes to custom wedding cakes and more.
Penny Perluss brings more than 20 years of experience to her new shop located in Gilroy’s Hecker Pass Plaza, 1280-F First St.
Perluss recently returned from an extended stay in India where she traveled to Sri Lanka and trained with R.L.Clement, famous for his mastery of cake decorating.
Perluss gained valuable knowledge with Clement and builds life-like visions in custom cake designs.
“We are truly excited to see our dream become reality. We are especially pleased to open our shop in Gilroy where so many of my clients have helped support my work. I invite everyone to stop in and say hello and tour our beautiful new shop,” Perluss said.
