Dear Editor,
As a telecommuter with a lot of meetings at various places in South County, I thank the businesses that provide wi-fi access (profiled in the story of July 7). I know I can speak for the others working on their laptops at First Street Coffee Exchange when I say we deeply appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, the great coffee and the use of their space as virtual offices.
Letting me camp out there saves me from driving back to Morgan Hill to my home computer to access or send emails, spares the air, and makes my down time waiting to pick up my son at Gavilan more efficient.
Again, thanks to those businesses like First Street Coffee Exchange that provide this very helpful service for no charge, along with their gracious hospitality.
