Gilroy Police said Monday that there are no charges filed in the death of a 60-year-old Hollister woman who was found shot to death last Wednesday at a Sorrento Drive house in Gilroy.
Lynn Blissard, 60, of Hollister, was found shot to death at 2:17 p.m., after her adult daughter, who had been visiting from out of town, called police.
The daughter was interviewed, according to a release by Sgt. Jason Smith, but not charged with a crime. The daughter told police her mother had shot herself, however, police listed it as a suspicious death, in keeping with standard procedures, Smith said.
“No criminal charges have been sought for anyone related to this investigation,” Smith said.Â
