Dennis Ray (Bubby) Burgess passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday August 30th, 2016. Dennis was born on March 15, 1948 in San Francisco, CA. After high school he married the love of his life, Betty Burgess, he then proudly served for two years in the Army in Vietnam. For 40 years Dennis was a painting contractor. He spent his life devoted to his family and helping others. Those who were fortunate to know him knew he was an amazing man, wonderful father figure to many and someone who would do anything for his family and friends.
Dennis enjoyed time with his family, playing with his grandson, hunting, camping, fishing and going to casinos.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Burgess, son Jeff Burgess, Brothers Neil, Gene and Sister Sandra, his grandson and countless other family members. He will be laid to rest at Mount Hope in Morgan Hill, a place he called home. He will be deeply missed.
