Gilroy Demonstration Garden Director Judy Hess, second from

Are you a Christopher or Gilroy high school student stumping for community service hours?

Soak up some sun in a beautiful atmosphere by volunteering from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays or Saturdays at the Gilroy Demonstration Garden, located located downtown on Eigleberry Street between Sixth and Seventh streets.

“Don’t wait until the last minute to get your hours done,” advises garden volunteer coordinator Sue Middagh. “Come on down and help us with the tasks for the day. It’s so rewarding to see things grow and learn about how it’s done.”
