This week, police responded to burglaries, hit-and-runs and assaults. Here are a couple incidents:

Hit-and-run, car catches fire

The driver and occupants of a car fled on food when it caught fire after they allegedly rear-ended another vehicle on Leavesley Road near Murray Avenue at 11:00 a.m. on Nov. 5. The suspects were not caught. The victim complained of pain.  

Assault on juvenile

A male juvenile claimed he was hit by an unknown man on Miller Avenue at 7:19 p.m. on Nov. 5. The suspect fled and was not caught by police. The juvenile was taken to a local hospital for injuries.  

Burglary, suspect’s car is known

A suspect was seen jumping the fence to a residence on Willy Court at 2:55 p.m. on Nov. 7. The residence was ransacked but it’s unknown what was taken. The getaway vehicle is listed as a gray 1998 GMC Sonoma. 

Assault on Pizza manager

At 7:25 p.m. on Nov. 6, the manager at Round Table Pizza on First Street was allegedly assaulted by a customer.
