Angelina Gomez DeLeon died in her sleep Sunday May 1, 2005.
A former Gilroy resident, she is known in her hometown of Clearlake as “The Lady who makes the best tamales.” She was always smiling and had an amazing zest for life.
Her heart and soul were her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Francisco DeLeon; her daughter; three sons; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1pm Friday May 6, 2005 at Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel.
Donations may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Society in Angelina Gomez DeLeon’s name.
