Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero can throw a mean jab. But can the Gilroy native and five-time world champion find the strike zone?

Guerrero will get his chance to show off his baseball skills when he throws out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Oakland A’s taking on the New York Yankees on Sunday.

The Ghost (29-1-1, 18 KOs) is closing in on his July 28 bout against Selcuk Aydin (23-0-0 17 KOs) for the vacant WBC Interim Welterweight world championship at HP Pavilion in San Jose.
