Super Air Heating and Cooling turned back Inked Tattoo 15-10 Thursday to remain atop the Men’s D Softball League standings with a 3-1 record at Las Animas Park.
Kyle Lomanto went 5-for-5 and Jayme Gutierrez homered for Super Air. Gabriel Ponce went 3-for-4 and Isaac Sepulveda homered for Inked Tattoo (2-2).
The Borrachos rallied past A-Plus Learning Center 8-2 to join Super Air in first place.
Matt Lappen and Isaac Hernandez each delivered an RBI-single in the first inning for the Learning Center.
Armando Uribe singled and scored in the Borrachos first inning. Noe DeLaTorre doubled and scored the equalizer in the fifth. Uribe ignited a six-run sixth with a single. Mitchell Reese highlighted the rally with a three-run home run.
Joe Ojeda’s three-run homer in the fifth inning pulled Players-HD Auto Glass past Town Plaza Barbers 11-8. Aaron Campos and Ojeda each went 3-for-3 for the winners. Johnny Benevidez went 3-for-4 for the Barbers.
Just Teazin’ defeated Kalai Kraze 12-7 Wednesday to leave both teams at 2-2 in the Women’s League at Christmas Hill Park.
Stacey Schaeffer garnered four hits and Kathy Bennett scored four runs for Just Teazin’. Dora Olivares doubled and singled for Kalai Kraze.
Maureen Hughes and Marissa Nowakowski each scored four runs to lead Pops’ Gals by Wendy’s Girls 22-0. Yvette Grandison went 2-for-2 for Wendy’s Girls.
Kay’s Kids ((3-0) earned a two-game lead in the Co-Rec D League standings Tuesday with a 14-6 victory over No Glove No Love at Christmas Hill.
Greg Lucio homered in a 4-for-5 effort for Kay’s Kids. Derek orca homered and tripled for No Glove No Love. Cody Wilson provided a homer and double.
Frank Vargas Taxes-Gaeta’s Taqueria (4-0) moved two games ahead in the Co-Rec B race Tuesday with a 16-5 decision over Out 2 Play.
Tomas Carrillo went 4-for-4 and scored four runs for the winners. Junior Naranjo doubled and singled for Out 2 Play.
JR’s Crew trimmed Advanced Wheels 9-8 behind a home run and triple from Gil Barry. Anthony Lucio went 3-for-4 for the Wheels.
