Gilroy – Robert Mann Packaging, Inc. has announced the hire of Jim Fosdick as Director of Sales and Marketing, who will head west coast sales and marketing for the company’s expanding strawberry packaging division. Their Gilroy office is located at 555 Mayock Road.
Fosdick comes to RMP from nearly a decade with Pacific AgPak where he led national accounts. Fosdick became knowledgeable about the exciting growth at RMP through servicing the company as one of his customers, and saw a fantastic opportunity with the leader in the industry when RMP asked him to come on board.
“RMP has been successfully filling a niche for smaller growers, but now, with new facilities, equipment and an expanded product offering, with this position, RMP has provided me an opportunity to soar with a multi-faceted company that has capacity to handle any size account and up to 3,000 acres per district,” Fosdick said.
Fosdick, who will be based out of RMP’s new Santa Maria facility, will service all California growing districts with at least one sales representative working with him in each district. Fosdick will be personally responsible for securing and servicing RMP’s larger accounts.
Harald Mann, Vice President of RMP, says of Fosdick, “With Jim’s relationships and knowledge of the industry, I am very excited to have him heading sales and marketing for our strawberry division. Under his leadership, and with the other positive changes we’ve instituted, such as opening new facilities and adding capacity, RMP is well-positioned to continue strong growth and gain of market-share.
Fosdick lives in Santa Maria with his wife, Julietta, son, James and daughter, Marissa. He enjoys golf, volunteering for Little League and spending time with his family.
