Eufrosina “Lucy” Mallare died Thursday, March 31, 2005 in Morgan Hill. She was 87.
Mrs. Mallare was the past president of the Gilroy Fil-Am and was very active in various South County senior programs. She and her late husband werefarmers in the San Martin area and she was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Amado Amorao of Camarillo, William and Chona Mallare of San Jose and John and Jodi Mallare of San Martin; 15 grandchildren’; 4 great-grandchildren: and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Pablo and daughter Jean Baliton.
Vigil services will be held at 7pm Monday, April 4, 2005 at Habing Family Funeral Home.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at St. Mary’s Church, Gilroy.
Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
