Brian Sullivan went 3-for-3 with two runs batted in to spark the Millers. Dave DeCarlo managed two singles and scored twice. Cris Adame hit for the cycle and Jason Livingston added two triples and a single for Andy’s.
Chicks N’ Sticks used a three-run rally in the top of the seventh inning to trim Lights Out 5-3. Erik Jimenez lashed a two-run single to give the Sticks a 4-3 edge. Bobby Garcia went 3-for-3 for the winners. Mike Hernandez drilled two doubles for Lights Out.
Whiplash opened the Men’s DDD action with an 11-10 nod over Trevino Brothers Construction Thursday at Las Animas Park. Mike Molina singled and scored on an infield error in the bottom of the eighth to claim the win. Trevino Brothers forced the extra session with a five-run seventh, paced by a two-run single from Matt Corona.
Molina went 5-for-5 and Julio Zavala homered for Whiplash. Chris Vigilante and Collin Kelly each homered for the losers.
The Brotha’s edged ABLC 12-9 behind four hits from Joe Martinez. David Lira singled, doubled and tripled for ABLC. Nate Leyva added a home run.
Liz Talavera and Sean Subia each went 4-for-4 as Dee’z Nutz & Cherries topped the Slammers 21-6 in Co-Rec C play. Brea Vasquez went 3-for-3 for the Slammers.
The Ball Hoggs took a forfeit win over Rhino Wiring.
