Dear Editor,

Mr. Evans, the president did nothing in the beginning to bring order to the hurricane situation. Without order, there is chaos, and with chaos breeds anarchy. This is where the president and his party failed. Without order there is no liberty. Without order there no justice. Restore order. Peace follows.
The Republican agenda leaves a lot of people behind. The war in Iraq proved that. 9-11 should have taught us a a lesson to be prepared when our way of life is threatened. This happened right here at home.
The Republican party is now taking us on a path of recession and economic failure. Why should we pay more for electricity for example? Does this make sense because of the gas crunch? Inflation will be next. The recession will follow!
I’ll be glad when the Republicans are out of office. All they have done is ruin our infrastructure with greed, prejudice and blatant stupidity. After the hurricane fiasco, people like Michael Evans should wise up. The only thing these people follow is the money because it sure isn’t Jesus Christ. He has been replaced. The almighty is now in the form of a tax cut. How long can this go on?
