Storm closes Christmas Hill Park entrance

Heavy rains flooded out the Silva Crossing entrance to Christmas Hill Park Wednesday, a regular occurrence in heavy rains, that hasn’t occurred enough in these drought years. 
Gilroy got an inch of rain over the past 24 hours. Heavy rains are predicted Friday and Saturday.
