Dear Editor
I opened the paper today and noticed that the world lost another
good soul by the name of Mary Ann Hopf.
Let me take you back to 1991, when I was a sixth grader and the
world was simple. Mrs. Hopf was always on the soccer field during
recess and lunch time inspiring us to play soccer and be
active.
Dear Editor
I opened the paper today and noticed that the world lost another good soul by the name of Mary Ann Hopf.
Let me take you back to 1991, when I was a sixth grader and the world was simple. Mrs. Hopf was always on the soccer field during recess and lunch time inspiring us to play soccer and be active.
After playing a good game with my fellow classmates, she would award us a “Green Spirit,” and made us feel as if we were on top of the world. As I grew older, I would see her in the grocery store and hug her. To me she was still Mrs. Hopf. I always looked at her as a prestigious person, and always new that I could go to her when I needed a open ear.
So as I sit her writing this letter, not only speaking for myself but for many others. As we consider her to be an outstanding woman and mentor for those who had a chance to have crossed paths with her. My regards to her family and friends. We will miss her in the days to come and always remember what she has done for our community.
