Students can get ahead with summer program

Gilroy – Students in grades three through eight can get ahead this summer by taking advantage of Gavilan College’s new program “College for Youth.” The program includes more than 70 course options to give families flexibility during the summer. Choose from math, English, academic strategies, art, science and computers. The classes are two-weeks long and begin June 26 and end Aug. 3. Most will be offered Mondays through Thursdays from 8am to 4pm. Class fees range from $49 to $69 per class.
Courses will be offered at the Gavilan College main campus in Gilroy and at the Morgan Hill site. Registration can be done by mail, fax, in person or online at www.gavilan.edu/ce.
