I have been following the 15th District state senate race between Assemblyman Abel Maldonado and Peg Pinard and attended several candidates debates to listen and understand their main platform and issues.
As a former council member and mayor of Morgan Hill, I am sensitive to local political issues and how these candidates past political decisions would affect the future financial stability of our city. Morgan Hill, like many cities, will struggle to provide essential services to their citizens.
Maldonado has experience on the city council and served as mayor in Santa Maria and understands what it takes to keep a city in a responsible fiscal position so public health and safety are secured for the citizens.
Assemblyman Abel Maldonado is one of our biggest supporters of Proposition 1A which will not allow Sacramento to take our hard earned money through property tax and sales tax revenues.
Please join me on Nov. 2 to vote Yes on measure 1A and a vote for your representative, Abel Maldonado for state senate.
