Alfonso Martinez passed away on October 21, 201,1 with his wife of over 54 years by his side along with his children.
He leaves behind his wife, Rosie, sons, Michael (Roseann), Alfonso, Jr. and daughter, Olga (Marshall) Burgess and four grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Megan and Marissa Martinez. Also surviving are his brothers and sister, Perfecto, Joe, Raymond Martinez all of Hollister and his sister, Juana Banuelos of Bellingham, WA.
He moved to Hollister as a young man working at the Fairview Cannery then started his owner/operator trucking business as Martinez Trucking for 25 years before retiring.
In accordance with his wishes there will be no service and he will be cremated.
