Santa Claus is coming to town: Come and enjoy breakfast, have your photo taken with Santa and shop for holiday gifts at the Santa Breakfast & Holiday Boutique from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Rod Kelley Elementary School, 8755 Kern Ave. Enter a raffle for prizes. Menu includes choice of pancake plate or menudo meal. Sponsored by the Parent Club and the english language Advisory Committee (ELAC). And since Santa can be two places at once: Kids ages 3 to 12 and their parents can have breakfast with Santa at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and have their photos taken afterward at the Gilroy Senior Center, 7371 Hanna St. There will also be crafts for kids. Cost: $12 per person. Details: Community Services Department at 846-0460.

Then St. Nick will go to Morgan Hill: Visit with Santa from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the former South Valley Bikes, 17395 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill. Details: 779-3190 or 4info @morganhilldowntown.org.

But wait he’s not done yet: The eighth annual Sing-Along Messiah will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Hill’s Advent Lutheran Church, 16870 Murphy Ave. The DeAnza College Orchestra will accompany Advent’s choir and musicians in presenting this performance to the community. Light refreshments will follow. Admission by donation.

Lasers and more: See the sights and sounds during Holiday Lights from 4-9 p.m. Friday through Sunday at Gilroy Gardens, 3050 Hecker Pass Highway. There will be pony rides for children. Peanuts characters from Knott’s Berry Farm will be at the Lakeside Amphitheatre for “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Snoopy and the gang will also be available for a holiday feast that you can purchase tickets for at the ticket booth. A “Santa’s North Pole Workshop” has been set up for children to ask Santa for presents, while those on waiting can draw and color. Details: 840-7100 or gilroygardens.org.
