Gilroy Browns holding registrations

SOCCER
Youth Rec league registration available
Registration for the Youth Spring Soccer Program will continue through Thursday, March 5 at the Gilroy Community Services Department office. Boys and girls from ages five through 11 will play Saturdays at Christmas Hill Park’s Ranch Site, beginning April 4. Every player will play at least one half of every game. Players will also receive a team jersey. Player registration has a cost of $55, although non-City of Gilroy residents pay a $60 fee for the eight-week season. SOFTBALL
Adult Rec league registration available
Team registration for the Rec Adult Spring/Summer Softball Program began Monday, Mar. 2 at the Gilroy Community Services Department office. Men’s, women’s and co-rec softball teams will be placed into leagues playing at Christmas Hill and Las Animas Parks. The regular season will start March 19. An entry fee of $478 and a complete roster are needed to enroll in the 12-game program. Leagues are open to players ages 18 and over. High school students are not eligible.
