Makaio Duyao, Christopher baseball

Duyao tripled to deep left field in the top of the second inning against Gilroy on March 27, driving in two runs and putting the Cougars ahead 7-6—a lead they never relinquished. The Cougar finished 1 for 4 with four RBIs, a run scored, two sacrifice hits and a triple in his team’s 12-7 win. Â

Castro was lights out for the Mustangs in their 6-0 win over Fremont at the Mission City Tournament at Mission College on March 28. She allowed just one hit and one walk, but racked up 10 strikeouts through six innings of work. She also homered in the fifth inning and had two RBIs.
