Salinas – Despite a shaky start, the San Benito football team recovered to score 30 straight points to beat North Salinas 30-13 at the Salinas Sports Complex.

Trailing 7-6 midway through the second quarter, the ‘Balers received a rushing touchdown and a punt return for a score by Abel Jacquez to improve to 5-1 (2-0 TCAL) heading into their game with Palma on Oct. 20.
