GILROY – A three-game schedule on Wednesday Oct. 29 at Solorsano Gymnasium will mark the opening of the Gilroy Community Services Department’s adult basketball program.
The Men’s League features eight teams, including three games each Wednesday and a single game Monday nights.
The Warriors and Hard Ninety play the 7 p.m. opener on Oct. 29. South Valley Disposal and GC Farms collide at 8 p.m., the Gilroy Bulls and Crunch Time play the 9 p.m. game.
Valerie Smith Intero, the defending champion, and Team Techron drew a first-week bye.
A four-team Women’s League begins play Monday, Nov. 3.
Gaeta’s Ballers and the Garlic Girls play the 7 p.m. game, Western Tree Nursery and Williams Dental Lab playing at 8pm.
The program provides a 12-game season for each team, with the second half of play and playoffs scheduled after the Christmas break.
