The 5th annual Art a la Carte will take place in Morgan Hill with the theme “Art Around the World.”
The interactive day of art projects for children from infants to 10 years old, will feature art projects from countries and cultures around the globe.
There will be more than 15 art stations with different art projects for children to explore.
The Morgan Hill Police Department will hold its Children’s Safety Fair and Bike Rodeo at the event. Children will also be able to explore the Fire Safety Smokehouse sponsored by the Santa Clara County Fire Department.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
When: Saturday from 11 a.m to 3 p.m.
Where: Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center at 17000 Monterey Road.
Cost: Art a la Carte is free and includes a hotdog lunch.

Old City Hall will hold the first of a series of dinner/dances
featuring ballroom dancing.
The evening will start off with wine and hors d’oeuvres during an hour of dance lessons for those who would like to learn some new steps.
The emphasis at this first dance will be on swing dancing.
The lesson will be followed by dinner, which in turn will be
followed by hours of dancing.
When: Sunday May 16 from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
