Grape: 100 percent carignan from vines planted in 1934. The wine has fruity flavors including raspberry and creamy blackberry. Dry finish.
Why: “We just won a silver medal at the L.A. County Fair. It’s been a very nice wine – nice and light,” said owner Gino Fortino.
