PREP ROUNDUP: CHS volleyball upends GHS

Competition is slated to begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at GHS.
Forty teams will ascend upon the track at Garcia Elder Sports Complex on Saturday for the 41st annual Avis-Kelley Invite, Gilroy’s premier track and field event.

The GHS boys are out to defend last season’s title where they posted 81 points, 17 better than second-place North Monterey County.

31st Annual Crab Cioppino Feed and Dance

Tickets are available for the annual all-you-can eat crab feast Gilroy High athletics fundraiser is May 7 at Christopher Ranch. Regula tickets are $50 per person. Must be at least 21 to attend. Contact GHS athletic director Jack Daley at 848-7178 for more information.
