WATER POLO
Join the Gilroy High and Christopher High girls and boys water polo programs in their efforts to raise awareness and resources for breast cancer research. A special event will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Christopher High School Aquatics Center.
The day will consist of four water polo scrimmage games between GHS and CHS, along with a shooting skills competition and guest speakers. The programs will be selling concessions and ask for donations at the door in-lieu of an entry fee. All proceeds for the event will benefit the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

The Gilroy Browns Mitey Mites (7-to-9-year olds) traveled to Daly City and turned in an impressive 18-0 win over the Titans.
Matthew Mendosa and Brenadan Doyle had first quarter touchdown runs, while Andrew Broch added a touchdown in the second half. The Browns forced three turnovers and were led on defense by Doyle, Broch, Mendosa, Jalen Hernandez, Rossi Oteri, Mateo Garnica, Braden Clark, Nicholas Rodriguez, Zachary Moulden, Elijah Sepulveda, Jonathan Rodriguez, Abel Martinez, Jacob Mikesell, Charlie Good, Jimmy Galvan Jr, Reymundo Sanchez and Joaquin Gomez among others. The Browns host their final regular season and home game Sunday at 10 a.m. against Castro Valley at Gilroy High.
