DivorceCare Program
Gilroy Presbyterian Church, 6000 Miller Ave., is offering “DivorceCare,” a support group for those who are going through, or have gone through divorce or separation, every Thursday from 7 to 9pm through March 31. Weekly sessions help to learn how to deal with the pain of your past and look forward to rebuilding your life. There are also weekly sessions for children. Cost is $15 for materials.

Day Break Support
Day Break Caregiver Support Group, a program of Catholic Charities, meets every third Friday of the month. Meetings are held in the Activity Room of Wheeler Manor, 651 W. 6th. Sreet in Gilroy, from 2:00-3:30pm. The goal is to assist in the well-being of those providing 24-hour care to a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease or some other form of dementia. Each session provides a guest speaker followed by discussion and a time to share experiences. The first meeting of 2005, will be Jan. 21. The topic will be “Updates on Alzheimer’s Research”, presented by John Timbs LMFT, of the Alzheimer’s Association.
