History: After working for the Chamber and Visitors Bureau for a number of years, J. Chris Mickartz opened her own business, InfoPower Communications in 1995. In 1997 her husband, Larry, joined the business.
Philosophy: InfoPower Communications (IPC) is a small business that is able to be responsive to the needs of the client. IPC is not so big that the client has to fit into a set formula. IPC takes time to listen to the client and then come up with solutions that fit the clients needs and budget. IPC has prepared logos, brochures, promotional material and newsletters for a number of South County businesses and non-profit agencies.
J. Chris and Larry have been in Gilroy for a long time and consequently have deep background in the workings of Gilroy. This knowledge of Gilroy has resulted in a highly successful magazine, Gilroy Today, which is published monthly by IPC.
