Gilroy – Gilroy Chaos turned nine runs in the final inning into a 13-12 upset of ifly in Co-Rec Fall C League play Thursday at Las Animas Park.

David Dennis crushed a two-run single and Daniel Vasquez hit a three-run triple as Chaos erased an eight-run deficit. Eddie Gamboa homered and Dan Martinez doubled and singled for the winners. Joe Tovar went 3-for-3 and scored three runs for 2-0 ifly.

The Icy Hots moved to 2-0 in C competition with a 17-10 victory over the Ball Slappers.

The Icy Hots responded to a 9-6 deficit in the sixth inning with an 11-run explosion. Maureen Duggan and Rich Adams each netted a double and single in the comeback. Brian Moreno helped the Hots cause with three singles. Josh Torres stroked two home runs and Jeran Campanella collected a triple and single for the Slappers (1-1).

Tutta Bella began the Co-Rec Fall B League campaign with a 16-4 win over Team Coconut Thursday at Christmas Hill Park.

Cory Casillas and Mark Terrill each went 4-for-4 for Tutta Bella. Chris Velador came off the bench to hit two singles in a seven-run fifth for the winners. Jill Rivera, Joel Vaca and Benny Sanchez each delivered two hits for Team Coconut.

Out To Play turned back Do Work 12-6 by striking for seven runs in the first inning. Mark Tarasco singled and doubled, scoring two Out To Play runs. Joe Cano hit a two-run home run and a pair of two-run singles for Do Work.

Los Pistoleros moved to 2-0 atop the Men’s Fall DD League standings Wednesday with a 15-6 decision over the VFW Vets at Las Animas Park.

Rick Trujillo went 4-for-4 and scored four runs to ignite the Los Pistoleros offense. Zeke Lopez and Lou Escamilla each provided four hits to the winning effort. Danny Melendez homered in a 4-for-4 showing and Jay Contreras mustered three hits and scored three runs for VFW Vets.

Walton & Sons Masonry reached 2-0 by edging the Titans 13-11.

Marc Vega capped a five-run assault in the Masonry fifth inning with a three-run home run. Tim Graves went 3-for-3 with two RBI for the winners. Steve Welch went 4-for-4 and Dave Hill and Jim Riemer each added three hits to the Titan attack.

Pacific Coast Bail Bonds moved to 1-1 with an 18-14 victory over New Hope Community Church.

Joel Gaeta sparked the Bail Bonds offense with two doubles and two singles, plating three runs. Matt Hernandez netted three hits and scored four runs for the winners. Norm MacVicar went 3-for-3. Clark Poulsen went 4-for-5 for New Hope Community Church.

Uribe Machining opened the Men’s Fall E League season with a 14-7 verdict over Team Beefy Wednesday at Christmas Hill Park.

Ralph Flores went 4-for-4 and Ernie Miller stroked a triple and two singles for the winners. Jeff Cowi closed the Uribe scoring with a solo home run. Chad Link lined a two-run single as Team Beefy struck for six runs in the first inning.

Executive Lifestyles scored six runs after the fifth inning to complete a 9-1 nod over the Good Ole Boys.

Steve Quistian hit a three-run home run in the Lifestyles seventh frame. Justin Baker hit a two-run triple for the winners. Bill Miller led the Good Ole Boys offense with two singles.
