He was a resident of Morgan Hill for 41 years.
He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Reed of Morgan Hill; devoted father of Jane (Anthony) Goularte, Nancy (Jim) Whalen, Mike (Debbie) Reed, Kim (Darrell) Clayton and Bill Nolan; loving grandfather of Courtney and Amber Whalen, Michael and Christian Reed, Shane, Tasha and Jacqueline Clayton and Tricia Goularte.
Charles served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He worked as a tool maker at Litton Industries and construction superintendent.
A memorial services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 305 W. Main Ave., Morgan Hill.
