It’s that time of year again.
Gilroy City Council members and city staff will convene Friday morning in the Gilroy Police Department community room to kickstart an annual, two-day retreat to pinpoint the Garlic Capital’s goals for 2012.
The city released the goal-setting agenda Tuesday afternoon. The meetings will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and will be open to the public.
Discussion topics are expected to include, but are not limited to:
• Anti-gang strategies
• Arts and recreation programs
• Following through on Discovery Gilroy survey initiatives
• Unreinforced masonry structures downtown
• Open government
