Ceremonies commemorating Veterans Day will take place Thursday at the Veterans Memorial Building at 74 West 6th St. in Gilroy.
A citywide invitation from the American Legion, Gilroy Post #217, has been extended to the community.
A free breakfast will be served from 8 to 10 a.m., with 11 a.m. ceremonies. Activities will include songs and a 21-gun salute and will feature guest speaker Joe Kline, Gilroy’s public information officer.
