The Men’s Winter CC League produced two one-run decisions in the triplebill at Christmas Hill Park. The Men’s Winter C League offered three two-run outcomes at Las Animas Park.

Dee’z Nutz-Interstate Fence managed a four-run margin in moving to 2-0 in CC play, a 7-3 nod over 1-1 Countryside Daycare Center.

Rich Chavez went 3-for-4 and scored two runs for Dee’z-Interstate. John DeCarlo Jr. went 3-for-4 and Eric Peterson and Mike Leslie each netted two hits for Countryside.

Ascent Electric-Embroidery Store also hit 2-0 with a 13-12 edging of the VFW Vets.

Sean Stansbury homered and Maciel Urenda lined a single, double and triple for Ascent-Embroidery. Danny Melendez roped a three-run home run and Oscar Montenegro and Roger Ortiz stroked three hits apiece for VFW Vets.

Emiliano Arde scored on a Fred Gomez single in the bottom of the sixth to lift the Las Animas Sweepers past Rhino Wiring 7-6. Gomez went 3-for-3. Benji Casarez hit a triple and two singles, Mike Hernandez a double and two singles for Rhino.

The Good Fellas are alone at 2-0 atop the C League after an 11-9 trimming of D. A. Wolfe Construction.

Eric Tomasetti punched a two-run home run and Ray Rojas provided three hits and scored twice for the Fellas. Benny Sanchez went 4-for-4 and Junior Gutierrez and Erick Jimenez each drove in two Wolfe runs.

Cellular Universe erased an 8-6 deficit with four runs in the sixth inning and topped Dynamite 10-8. Ruben Lujan and Danny Ramos hit run-scoring singles in the Cellular rally. Daniel Salinas went 3-for-3 for the Universe. Mike Montenegro hit a grand slam for Dynamite.

Mark Terrill drove in four runs with a triple and homer to lead Bike Center by Crew Softball 8-6. Mark O’Donoghue went 3-for-3 for the Center. Robert Sanchez went 3-for-4 with a home run for the Crew.
