Individuals from Anchorpoint Christian’s boys and girls
basketball teams received recognition for their play from the
Coastal Athletic League.
GILROY – Individuals from Anchorpoint Christian’s boys and girls basketball teams received recognition for their play from the Coastal Athletic League, with Chelsea Urbanski being named CAL girls’ MVP and K.C. Adams being named boys’ Coach of the Year.
Josh Ignagni, Shaq Johnson and Marcus Harrell all received all-league honors for the boys, while Urbanski and Adrianna Osuna were named to the girls’ All-Cal team.
Despite both teams barely having just seven players at most for each game, the boys ended the regular season at 5-7 while the girls ended with a 4-4 record.
