Dear Editor,
I just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed Christine Tognetti’s recent column. There are a bunch of us in my age group who couldn’t wait to get out of this small town at one time or another. We find ourselves back here raising our families, thinking there is NO PLACE I’d rather be!
When reading about your “Nob Hill memories” I couldn’t help but think of how that grocery store was the center of social life in a time where there was absolutely NOTHING in this town. (not even a movie theater!) I have fond memories of using any excuse to join my mother for a trip into the grocery store because all Nob Hill baggers back then were attractive, clean cut young boys!
