library bond has less than two-thirds voters’ support
1. History class project goes to the capital
Darren Yafai’s history class at Gilroy High School chronicled 26 ‘Stories of Service’ – stories of the men and women who fought in WWII. Armed with a documentary his students made on their experience with the project, Yafai’s headed to the nation’s capitol to teach others how he did it.
2. Library bond has less than two-thirds voters’ support
With less than two weeks to go before the election, how is the library bond faring? Two earlier polls of voters showed that just under two-thirds – the required threshold to pass a bond – supported Measure F. Which side is winning more support ahead of the election, and what is each one doing as the days wind down?
