Dear Editor

I would like to convey my deepest respect to the family of Louie Sandoval. I was able to attend the services and experience again what a great city I live in called Gilroy. Only standing room was available, and many people from the Gilroy Garlic Festival (past and future chairpersons), to city employees like John Garcia were there.

It was nice to see how a city like Gilroy cares and appreciate people like our fallen Louie Sandoval. He was a man on a mission to help out the youth in today’s world who are faced with daily trials and tribulations. But Louie made it his mission to help out youth and lead them in the right direction. Thanks Gilroy for showing your kindness to the grieving family of Louie Sandoval.

Robert Rodriguez, Gilroy
